Carded to be held on Wednesday 18 April, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Port of Spain, Trinidad, this Conference will showcase and highlight some of the mega trends that have been taking place over the years. These trends are integral to what is referred to as the 4th Industrial Revolution, or Industry 4.0, which is characterized by the emergence of new technologies which combine the physical, digital and biological worlds.

To put the Conference into perspective, Trinidad and Tobago, and by extension, the region stands on the threshold of an exciting era of technology that will essentially change the way we work, live and play.  Cognizant of the anticipated transformative impact of these new and emerging technological developments, and mindful of the need for an integrated and all-inclusive response, involving all stakeholders from the public and private sectors, as well as academia and civil society, CARIRI has decided to facilitate and advance this discussion, and has committed to inviting knowledgeable and experienced persons in the industry who would be able to speak to the dynamics currently taking place.

Leading experts in various fields are proposed to be brought together to showcase what has already been done in the subject area and what activities are taking place around the world, as well as new technologies that could potentially be implemented in the region to ensure that it is not left behind.  Some of the topics to be covered are:
