International Workshop on Microsystems Technologies for African Health: μ-Med-A 2015

The third workshop focusing on defining the challenges of microsystems based diagnostics for health in South Africa, the International Workshop on Microsystems Technologies for African Health: μ-Med-A 2015, will be held at the Protea Hotel Stellenbosch in South Africa from September 16-19, 2015.

Workshop sessions will focus on defining the challenges of microsystems based diagnostics for health, addressing such areas as HIV/Aids, malaria, tuberculosis (TB) and water monitoring.  Focused sessions will address the appropriate microsystems technologies which are available or being developed to target these areas.

The single session workshop will provide a forum for researchers, technologists, entrepreneurs, NGOs and funding bodies to interact on the latest developments and future trends in the multidisciplinary field of microsystems technology.  All speakers are by invitation only and we envisage lively debate around the topics of interest. Ample opportunity for informal interactions among attendees will be provided.
